Lake Rotoehu is famous for it’s trout fishing and peaceful tranquility.  With our lodges located in quite col-de-sac amongst the forest you are guaranteed to unwind and relax and enjoy what the homes have to offer. The Rotorua region has 17 lakes, known collectively as the Lakes of Rotorua. Lake Rotoehu is a shallow lake surrounded by native trees and wetland vegetation and is popular with rainbow trout averaging at 1.5kgs.  Lake Rotoehu is the smallest in a chain of three lakes to the northeast of Lake Rotorua in New Zealand’s North Island. It is located between the city of Rotorua and town of Whakatane.

If you love the outdoors and want to experience nature at its best this area is definitely for you! The forest is most well known for the network of superb mountain biking and walking tracks and for the magnificent stand of Californian Coast Redwoods.
